The Hoppip struck the same spot as before as Rex got a look, feeling a bit injured internally, as it shot another fireball at the Hoppip.

The meowth is obviously not cut out for battle, as it quickly faints. The woman seems mildly upset at the loss, but feels satisfied that your Pokemon will never be as beautiful as hers.
Leon earns 16 Poke XP, 1 misc XP, and 400 crowns.

Leon has mixed feelings about his first win, on the on hand he won, on the other Rex was knocked out and Toadstool was injured. He'd need to work on strategy as time came on, but felt this was an alright first attempt. He took his pokemon back to the guild to get treated then headed back into the city to search for a trainer.

Leon bumps into a rich-looking person next. They mumble something about 'you'll do' and wave a servant over to communicate their desire to battle you. Apparently you're good enough to serve as entertainment in a battle with them, but no be spoken to directly. How rude! The battle is 2v2, and Gentleman starts with a Growlithe.
